MATCH REPORT: Sutton lose 7-goal thriller

Sutton Bonington FC playing against Sileby Town FC Reserves

A late goal gave Sileby Town Reserves all 3 points as they ran out 4-3 winners.

Sutton found themselves 3-0 down at half time to local rivals Sileby Town Reserves but 10 minutes after half time Jack Tormey pulled a goal back.

Just passed the hour mark young defender Henrijs Bosko scored his first goal for the club before Tormey levelled the scores on 71 minutes, taking his tally for the first team to 86 goals.

With the clock ticking down, Sutton thought they had done enough to secure a point only for Sileby to grab a late goal and take all 3 points.

The win lifts Sileby 2 places up to 10th while Sutton remain in 16th

Next weekend Sutton host Premier League side Friar Land & Epworth in the 1st round of the Tiger League Cup.
