NEWS: Sutton confirmed as Runners-up

Sutton Bonington have officially finished as Runners-up in the Division 2 Senior League table by 1 point.

Lutterworth Town Reserves have been found guilty of fielding an ineligible player against Rothley Imperial on 18th April, which Luttorworth won 1-0.

The result has now been overturned and the game awarded to Rothley, lifting Rothley to 6th in the table and dropping Lutterworth to 3rd.

This means that Sutton now receive the Runners-up prize of £250 and automatic promotion to Division 1 for next season.

A 3rd promotion place became available at the League's recent AGM, and as Lutterworth have folded, the final promotion spot was awarded to Leicester Atletico who had finished 4th.
